Man arrested for allegedly grabbing women's bottoms

AUBURN, AL (WXTX) -  A bizarre series of attacks has been solved, according to Auburn Police. 

Twenty-seven-year-old John Walters of Tallassee, AL has been arrested for allegedly approaching women, grabbing their behinds and quickly taking off. 

Reports indicate most of the attacks happened in the Magnolia Avenue area.

Investigators believe he may be connected to similar harassment cases that have been reported to Auburn Police recently. We are told additional charges could be pending.

Walters is currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center. 

Meanwhile, police is asking anyone who has had a similar harassment incident in Auburn recently to call (334) 501-3140.
