Thirty-five-year-old Tyrone Love is accused of taking gumball machines from at least 25 of the 30 businesses by smashing in windows and glass doors. Police say these burglaries left behind damages totaling thousands in dollars.
Love pled guilty to 10 counts of burglary and a judge issued a $10,000 bond on each charge-- a total of $100,000.
It is also believed that Love made his way to Phenix City, AL during the gumball burglary spree. [Click here to read more]
Meanwhile, Columbus Police want to thank the public and the news media for assisting in Love's arrest.
Court records indicate in 2006 Love pled guilty and was sentenced to probation for financial card fraud at a Columbus Summit gas station. In addition, documents indicate he pled guilty to five counts of forgery and in 2007, was sentenced to 10 years -- 2 of which he served behind bars. And in 2009, records show he pled guilty to shoplifting and giving false information to police.
