COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  A Columbus man is recovering after his brother says he leapt in front of his moving car.

It happened Thursday night before 10 on Fulton Road, off Macon Road near the Muscogee/Talbot County line.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found 68-year-old Warren Paschal lying on the roof of the vehicle that hit him suffering from several apparent injuries.

Paschal was being treated by paramedics so he wasn't able to talk to the cops about the incident but his brother, Jerome Paschal, told police he was driving North on Fulton Road and slowed down to turn into his driveway when his Warren "jumped" in front of his 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

Reports list the brothers as living together at the same address.

Jerome went on to tell officers his brother, Warren, fell on the hood of his car and rolled onto the roof.

Warren Paschal was taken to the Medical Center with what police say are non life-threatening injuries.

According to reports, the incident has not yet been ruled a car accident as officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding it.
