Man attacked while repossessing furniture

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are looking for a couple of suspects they say attacked a man.

The incident happened Tuesday at the Crosswinds Apartments located on Steam Mill Road.

The victim says he was trying to repossess furniture from a tenant when the two suspects approached him.

The suspects brandished a black steak knife and slashed him on both of his forearms and punctured his right pelvis.

Reports indicate the suspects also kicked and punched the victim, then left the weapon near an apartment window.

The victim describes the suspects as Hispanic males between the ages of 15 and 20.
