Columbus resident tied with rope during home invasion

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Police Department is investigating a home invasion in which the victim was bound with rope.

The victim told police around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday two men ran across his yard on Quincy Drive and pointed pistols at him.

The victim stated the suspects forced him inside his home and made him get on his face in his living room.

The men reportedly demanded to know the location of his valuables. When the victim stated the items were in his bedroom, the suspects tied his feet and hands using a nylon rope.

The suspects took a 48" flat screen television, a Dell laptop, a Sony digital camera ($150), and about $1000 in cash.
