StarChase Appoints New Business Consultant for Commonwealth of Virginia

Virginia Beach, Va. – Aug. 5, 2010 – StarChase LLC, a company specializing in tagging-and-tracking pursuit-management solutions for the law-enforcement sector, announced that Larry Curfiss has joined the company as a business consultant for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Curfiss is president and CEO of CASC-LLC, a business development consulting firm specializing in strategic revenue-growth initiatives, defense-to-commercial contract transitioning, and company expansion. Prior to launching his consulting firm, he held several positions in the manufacturing industry and key vice president positions at ITT Night Vision, where he successfully developed and implemented policies and procedures for the company's marketing and sales program, tripling annual revenues to nearly $500 million.

Curfiss has served on the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation for 13 years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

"Curfiss brings over 14 years of established global marketing, sales and business development experience to StarChase," said Trevor A. Fischbach, president of StarChase. "His expertise in these fields will be crucial in the development and implementation of StarChase's sales and marketing efforts, and will directly support the company's strategic plan to increase the presence of the StarChase system."

"The StarChase patented pursuit-mitigation technology offers one of the most viable solutions for reducing the dangers and risks involved in police pursuits," said Curfiss. "Many state agencies and local municipalities in Virginia have already seen a demonstration of the technology. I look forward to increasing the installations of this life-saving law-enforcement tool to ultimately increase the overall safety and well-being of the public and our communities."
