ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police are looking for a driver in an unusual hit and run. 40-year-old Heather Fulton was crossing a street in her wheelchair Thursday afternoon.
She was in the intersection at Magnolia Street and Broad Avenue around 5:30 when she was hit by a black Kia Sephia.
Officers say the driver got out, apologized to Fulton, then drove off. Fulton was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are looking for 2001 Kia Sephia with a broken back window with tape over it and a possible tag number of B-L-H 6002. If you have any information, call Albany Police at 431-2100.
