COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus mom has been banned from an elementary school. Twenty-seven-year-old Hope Trawick allegedly yelled and cursed in front of several parents and children.
The incident happened Monday around 8:45 a.m. at Edgewood Elementary School – the first day of class.
Witnesses say she was yelling at the school's principal while registering her fifth-grade child Monday.
Officers on the scene say they asked her to stop using the language, but she continued to be belligerent.
As a result, Trawick was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
She was later released after posting bond.
Muscogee County Schools spokesperson tells us Trawick can no longer take her child to school or attend school functions.
