COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus Police say three men robbed the Family Dollar on Farr Road, using handguns, shotguns and a machete just before 9:00 Wednesday night.

A police report indicates three black men entered the store, one wearing a black and white spider man mask,  and ordered the employees and customers to empty their pockets.

The suspects then ordered them into a stockroom in the back of the store.

The assistant manager was taken to the safe, where he was ordered to open it and give the suspects the money inside.

The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction and Columbus Police continue to investigate the crime.
