Illegal slot machines to be crushed and buried

CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) –  The bingo battle continues in east Alabama.

District Attorney E. Paul Jones announced that his office will oversee the destruction of slot machines seized in raids throughout the 5th Judicial Circuit.

The machines will take place Wednesday morning at the Chambers County Landfill, located at Alabama Highway 50 between LaFayette and Lanett, AL.

We are told about 35 illegal slot machines will be crushed and then buried. This circuit consist of Chambers, Macon, Randolph and Tallapoosa Counties.|
