COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Authorities will be changing the traffic patterns around Williams-Brice Stadium on game day to accommodate the tens of thousands of fans.
About four hours before kickoff, all lanes will move traffic toward the stadium. The same streets are affected on Thursday games as well as Saturday games.
At the start of the game's third quarter, traffic will shift. All lanes will move traffic away from Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Farmers Market now has three gates that you can enter to access that area. There is still the one off Bluff Rd. at Bo jangles but two more gates have been added off National Guard Road.
There will be no parking allowed on Shop Road. If you park there, DPS officials say you will be towed. They will also enforce a new no parking zone on Key Road between the railroad tracks and Hemlock Road.
If your vehicle is towed, you should contact the Columbia Police Department or the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Drivers are urged to take caution, and expect heavy traffic and possible delays. Officers will be at intersections to help with traffic before, during and after the game.
