COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) -- The man accused of murdering local radio personality Heath Jackson, 25, now faces new charges.

Columbus police have tied Ricardo Strozier to another burglary in the city.  They say this burglary happened on August 6th in the 4200 block of 15th avenue, which is below Manchester Expressway.

In this case, investigators say the burglar surprised the homeowner, tied him up and stole his belongings.  Detectives say the victim identified Strozier as the man who broke into his house.

The new charges he faces are armed robbery, burglary, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

He's scheduled to appear in recorder's court on these new charges Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
