COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Tanisha King has attended Bishop Eddie Long's church since she was a young girl. With recent allegations against her pastor, Tanisha is coming to his defense.

"There's nothing in my heart, and nothing in my soul, or in my spirit that Bishop Eddie L. Long committed any of these act that those young men were saying," King said.

On Tuesday two DeKalb County, GA men filed law suits alleging that Bishop Eddie Long coerced them into having sex in exchange for cars, cash, and trips. Now, a third man has come forward with new allegations.

The allegations against Bishop Long are one of many accusations that have been made against ministers, bishops and priest during the last few years.

We asked Auburn Social worker Chris Locke why people are so quick to condemn these men of God before they get all the facts.

"People in general have a hard time understanding why children and teens or a potential victim would fabricate details like this I think people struggle to see why people make this up if it didn't happen to them," Locke said.

While Bishop Long has not spoken publicly about these allegations, for faithful followers like Tanisha King Long is innocent until proven guilty. "I have learned so much from his as being a Christian woman I've learned to grow up in church through him and don't think I would be where I am today if it wasn't for him," King said.
