MARION COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -  A Marion County man is dead after troopers say he was hit from behind by a teenage driver.

Georgia State troopers say 53-year-old Stephen Olliff was riding his motorcycle on Fort Perry Road Monday night in Marion County.

Following behind him in her car was 17-year-old Mallory Mock.

According to troopers, Mock didn't realize Olliff slowed down to make a right-hand turn onto Saddle Trail and applied her brakes too late, hitting him from behind.

Olliff lost control of his motorcycle and slid 135 feet, the trauma killing him.

Troopers have charged Mallory Mock with following too closely and say other charges may be pending.
