COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The accused gunman behind a deadly Labor Day shooting in East Highland is in police custody.
Tray Thomas turned himself in to Columbus police Tuesday night. He is accused of shooting Gerald Hatchett, 18, on Labor Day.
Thomas has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and aggravated assault.
Hatchett was found shot lying in the middle of 25th street.

Twenty-one-year-old Marquise Roberts was arrested earlier this month in connection with the case as the driver in the incident.
Roberts has already pleaded not guilty to murder and aggravated assault.
