PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – The Phenix City Police Department tells News Leader 9 it  has linked three suspects to a church fire that occurred about five months ago.

Two of the suspects have already been arrested in connection with a razor blade scare at Lakebottom Park in Columbus, GA.

Phenix City authorities say are charging 21-year-old Derek Fullum, 19-year-old Chad Adams and 18-year-old Gary Bryan with arson and burglary.

Investigators say on April 17 the trio broke in the Garner Chapel CME Church located at 10 Old Opelika Road in Phenix City and started a fire inside the building.

We are told recent finger print evidence linked the suspects to the church arson.

Fullum and Bryan are currently being held at the Muscogee County Jail.
