Knology men wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness

Press Release

COLUMBUS, GA - On Wednesday, October 13, 2010 the men of Knology will ditch the company's flagship red apparel in favor of a more feminine hue – pink.

In conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the male employees at the Knology office in Columbus will show their support by wearing pink shirts throughout the work day.

"It's a cause that's important to us for many reasons," says Royce Ard, general manager for Knology of Columbus. "Almost every one of us knows someone affected by this disease; it's close to our hearts. We want to show women they're not in this battle alone."
