COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  The search is on in Columbus for two men police say tied a woman up in her home and robbed her.

It happened a house on Glen Valley Drive in Midland late Wednesday night.

The victim, a 30-year-old woman, says two black men kicked open a door with their feet and she tried to run away with her 2-year-old son but was tackled from behind.

Major Julius Graham, who oversees the Columbus Police Department's Patrol Division, says the suspects demanded money but the victim told them she didn't have any to give them.

At that point, Graham says they tied the victim up with electrical cord, put duct tape over her mouth and threatened to hurt her toddler.

The victim was struck across the side of the head with a pistol and the gunmen got away with her purse, wallet and watch.

Major Graham says her husband was pulling in as the suspects were getting into a car.

One of the men is described as being 5'7-5'10, thin with a dark complexion, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black shorts and green gloves.

The other is described as being 6', thin with a dark complexion, wearing a long sleeve black shirt and green gloves.
