Columbus KFCs targeted in recent burglaries

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Two Columbus KFC restaurants are targeted by burglars in a span of several hours.

The first incident happened at the fast food chain's branch on Manchester Expressway just before 5 AM Sunday.

Police say a piece of concrete was used to shatter the glass door.

The second burglary happened at the KFC on Macon Road at 8:15 Sunday.

According to police reports,  a large rock was used to break the glass front door and the cash drawer was stolen.
