Shopper robbed at Peachtree Mall

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police continue to search for two suspects they say robbed a shopper at the Peachtree Mall.

It happened in broad daylight Friday just after 5 PM.

The victim, a 50-year-old man, told officers he was walking out of the mall near Ruby Tuesdays when he was approached by two black men who pointed a pistol in his face and told him to give them his money.

One of the suspects is described as being in his 20s, 6'0, driving a grey Mercury Grand Marquise, wearing a black jacket with red "Atlanta Falcons" letters.

The other suspect is described as being in his 20s, 5'9" with dreadlocks, clean shaven and wearing jeans and a red shirt.
