Muscogee Co.'s student committee launches logo contest

COLUMBUS, GA -  The Muscogee County School District Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Student Advisory Council will launch a Logo Contest! The contest is open to all high school students in the Muscogee County School District.

Council representatives from each high school will select the top three designs to present to the full Council for judging.

The grand prize is a new Netbook computer! 

The winning logo design will be featured on the website, booklets, t-shirts, caps, buttons, and other printed materials. Of course, council members are not allowed to participate in the contest.

Designs can be hand drawn or computer generated, but must be submitted in standard photo file formats (i.e., jpg, gif, or bmp). 

Entries should be submitted in color and black and white.

No entries will be accepted after the November 8, 2010, 5:00 p.m. deadline.  The winner will be announced Thursday, November 18, 2010.

The CIO Student Advisory Council was formed in 2009 to provide leadership opportunities for students and to gain opinions from student leaders about key technology issues throughout the district.
