Our healthcare system now consists of three acute care hospitals, a multi-disciplinary cancer center and a number of facilities offering specialized care. We continue to grow, change and advance quality heathcare with new services and programs and the latest technology so that your experience may have the most positive outcome.
As we look at what lies ahead, our commitment to the patient experience has never been more evident than in two major endeavors currently in their early stages. Our Emergency Department, which recorded 57,602 visits last year, will triple when the new and expanded ED opens in 2011. In addition, plans are underway to consolidate all services for women and children currently offered at The Medical Center and Doctors Hospital. The new center will provide coordinated and integrated services for women across all life stages and for children from birth through age 21. We make these plans for the future of healthcare in our growing community with a pledge to keep your health and experience at the center of each decision.
Thank you for making Columbus Regional a part of your lives.
