Police investigate two auto theft cases

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – The Phenix City Police Department is working on two auto theft cases from Sunday night.

Cpt. Frank Ivey of the department's Criminal Investigations Unit tells News Leader 9, a  grey 2002 Volvo car was stolen from the Circle K convenient store on Stadium drive around 10:15 p.m. Sunday night.

In an unrelated case, a black 1987 Toyota pickup truck was stolen from a parking spot at Integrity Auto Sales located on the 280 Bypass.

Neither one of the cars have been found and returned to the owners.
