Woman caught on tape stealing customer's wallet

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department says it is seeking a person who stole a wallet at a local grocery store.

We are told the theft occurred on October 19th around 2:00 p.m.

A red men's wallet was accidentally left on the counter by customer at Save-A-Lot Food Store located at 4217 Hamilton Road.

It's believed the woman in the surveillance video took the wallet.

She is described as a black female, with short curly hair dyed blonde and medium build. It is believed she is between 30 to 45 years of age.
