Residents can get help with heating bills

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – If you need help paying your bills, the Georgia Department of Human services has announced it will help Georgians struggling to keep up with the cost of heating their homes.

The department has received more than $41 million to assist low-income, elderly and disabled Georgians with their heating bills.

If you are interested in participating in the program, you must provide your most recent fuel bill and proof of income for all household members for the past 30 days.
