COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The so-called mastermind in a botched robbery and murder in Columbus denies any involvement.
Thirty-six-year-old Deveka Wade pleaded not guilty in Recorder's Court Friday morning.
Wade is accused of setting up the robbery that led to the shooting death of 52-year-old Kelley Leggett.
It happened at an apartment on Old Buena Vista Road more than a week ago.
Three others have already been arrested in connection with the murder. Police say the shooters hit the wrong apartment.
