Disabled man attacked, suspects on the loose

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus police are looking for two suspects who attacked a disabled man.

It happened Thursday around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 22nd Street, off Talbotton Road.

An officer was patrolling the area and found the 64-year-old victim lying on the side of the street.

Police say two black men between the ages of 18-22 beat him and tried to rob him.

The victim was taken to Doctor's Hospital for treatment.

The case in being investigated as an aggravated assault and criminal attempt robbery. If you have any information on this crime please call Columbus police.
