Crime Stoppers: Family Dollar Robbery

COLUMBUS, GA - Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Investigative Services are requesting assistance in locating two Armed Robbery suspects.

On Saturday, November 06, 2010 just before 12:00 noon, two males robbed the Buena Vista Road Family Dollar.

Two unknown black males armed with guns entered the store and demanded money from the cashiers. After taking an undetermined amount of cash, the suspects left the store running on foot around the building towards the back of the store.

The two suspects got into a white, older model, box style, 4-door Jeep Cherokee with dark tint on the windows, then fled the scene and went East on Monticello Drive.


Suspect #1 was a black male 5/7"; 160 lbs ; thin build; wearing blue jeans and a thick black hooded jacket with the word "Georgia" in red and black across the back of the jacket.

Suspect #2 was a black male 5'4"; 130 to 140 lbs; thin build; wearing blue jeans and a thick black hooded jacket. Both were carrying guns.
