COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Before he was killed, Heath Jackson was promoting a concert featuring one of his favorite artists to benefit the radio station where he was the morning DJ, 88.5 The Truth.  The concert was postponed when Jackson was murdered in his home on September 7th.

The concert is now set for Sunday, November 21st.  Artist Dave Barnes will headline the concert in a tribute to Jackson.  Others featured include Jonathan and Lisa Moore and Garrett Lee.  Jackson's mother, Angi Idel, says with God's help she will sing one of their favorite songs as well.

Idel believes her son would be happy the show is going on without him.  Although it is a tribute concert, he would say it is not about him.  "He would say it was about God.  To God be the glory."

Tribute concert will be held this Sunday at 6 p.m.  Doors open at 5:50.

Tickets can be purchased at Sanctuary Christian Bookstore in the Landings for $12.  Tickets at the door will cost $15.
