AUBURN,AL (WTVM)- Victory was spelled A-u-b-u-r-n tonight. It may have been a little wet on Toomer's Corner but that didn't stop fans from celebrating in the streets of downtown Auburn.

"I told them last week we were going to beat Alabama, they won last week but this week they aren't going to win, they got away last year, but this year they didn't."

"Auburn played a wonderful game, Cam Newton did exactly what he had to do , and we came out on top it doesn't matter SEC championship here we come," an Auburn fan said.

Festivities began inside bars and restaurants downtown, then fans of all ages took to streets to do what Auburn fans have done for years after every big win, celebrate in Toomer's Corner.

"We needed this win just to show Alabama what we are all about and so far thanks to Cam Newton, we are doing a good job on this one," Auburn student Troy Edwards said.

"We knew all the time we thought we didn't have it but we had it all the time."

"Everybody said we weren't any good we are, going to be number one, we are going to win it all."
