Man wanted for murder at mobile home turns self in

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - Opelika police say a man wanted for the city's latest murder has turned himself in.

Investigators tell us 32-year-old Eric Frazier of Opelika, AL walked into the Lee County Justice Center without incident around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Frazier was transported to the Lee County Detention Facility and is being held in lieu of bond.

Last Friday, police found 30-year-old Tavares Jones lying in a vacant lot at the King's Mobile Home Estates on Dale Avenue in Opelika.

Jones had multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.
