Zaxby's inflatable chicken found at UGA fraternity

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The Zaxby's inflatable chicken that was stolen has been returned and the restaurant chain says it won't press charges against two fraternity brothers accused of taking it.

University of Georgia police Chief Jimmy Williamson tells the Athens Banner-Herald that the two Beta Theta Pi members will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

"Big Zach," as the chicken was known, was taken from in front of a UGA building on Oct. 5. Police say the fraternity brothers had hidden the chicken under the porch of their fraternity house until Friday when they inflated it and spray painted "Pledge Party" on its chest.

A passer-by spotted the chicken in the fraternity's backyard Saturday and alerted police.
