HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - It's a dangerously cold morning across north Alabama.
Forecasters say it feels like it's just above zero in places because of the combination of temperatures in the teens and light winds.
Officials say it's important to bundle up and keep all skin covered outdoors with the wind chill so low.
Temperatures are supposed to make it into the mid- to upper 30s Tuesday afternoon. Bnt the National Weather Service says there's a chance of precipitation moving in after daybreak on Wednesday while the temperatures are still cold, creating travel problems in the Tennessee Valley region with snow, freezing rain or sleet.
Thursday should bring a warmup into at least the 50s statewide.
