Crime Stoppers: Robbery suspect on the run

COLUMBUS, GA - Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Investigative Services are requesting assistance in locating one of the two armed robbery suspects who is still wanted by police.

Police are seeking information on Brandon Williams, the second suspect.

An armed robbery occurred on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at approximately 9:40 pm., in the parking lot of 101 4th Street.

The victim informed Police that he had just cashed in on a winning lottery ticket at a store on 6th Street and left the store.

The victim then drove to the intersection of 6th Street and 3rd Avenue where a black female and male were standing on the corner of this intersection.

The victim stated that the black female got into the rear seat and the black male got into the front passenger seat of his car.

The black male suspect pulled a black pistol from under his shirt and told the victim to drive to the parking lot of 101 4th Street.

When they arrived at the destination the black male suspect demanded money as the black female put a black pistol against the victim's head.

The victim gave the suspects his cell phone, watch and $65.00, and then they left the scene. Video surveillance was obtained with suspect information.

Suspect information: Black male; 25; 5'9"; 160 lbs; named Brandon Williams; nick name "Swoll".

A black female suspect has been arrested.
