COLUMBUS, GA - The Columbus Police Department Investigative Services and Crime Stoppers is requesting assistance in locating a robbery suspect.

November 17, 2010 at approximately 5:00pm, police responded to the report of a robbery by snatching at the Rite Aid on Wynnton Road.

An unknown black male approached the stores front counter to make a purchase.

The suspect then requested the cashier to get a single pack of cigarettes from behind the counter.

When the cashier turned back to scan the item, the black male snatched the items from the cashier and exited the front door entrance of the store.

Suspect Information: black male; clean cut; mid 20's to early 30's; slightly balding on top head with short cut hair; slim build; wearing a long sleeve brown shirt, with a white t-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
