Man robbed in broad daylight in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA  GA (WTVM) —  A Mauk, GA man was the victim in a Columbus robbery.

The 48-year-old victim told police  two men pointed a pistol at him Monday around 9:15 a.m. at 217 21st  Avenue.

He told police one of the suspects was wearing a mask, the other wore a beanie.

Both are described as weighing about 150 - to 180 pounds, and around 5'11".

The men got away with $85.

No other details about the incident were released.
