COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A 32-year-old Columbus man is arrested for allegedly shooting a man in broad daylight.
James Rosier tells Columbus Police, Wednesday around 3 p.m. he was in his front yard when Daniel Lopes shot him in the left hip.
Rosier is listed in critical condition at the Medical Center.
The case remains under investigation as officers try to figure out what happened.
Lopes is being held in the Muscogee County Jail, charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
He made his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
