COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Several flights have been canceled at the Columbus Airport due to inclement weather in the Chattahoochee Valley.   American Southeast Airlines—The Delta Connection canceled 7 flights Monday morning with an inbound and outbound flight tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m., according to Jeffrey Wright, Airport Police Chief.

American Airline's American Eagle canceled an early morning outbound flight to Dallas. The terminal is awaiting word from AA on whether a 3:45 afternoon flight will arrive in Columbus.

The airlines are rebooking passengers at the ticket counters or by calling your reservations number.  "We are putting salt on the public walk areas just in case we get some customers out here," said Wright.

Remember, the roadways are very dangerous.  You are advised not to travel unless it's absolutely necessary.
