COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Federal agents in Columbus have seized $200,000 worth of cocaine in a bust they say was a set-up.

Special Agent Chuvalo Truesdell, a spokesman for the Drug Enforcement Agency in Atlanta, says agents in Columbus received information from the Louisiana State Police that a large amount of cocaine was on its way to the Fountain City.

Officers in Louisiana had already arrested a man who had two kilograms of cocaine. The man told police the drugs were going to someone in Columbus and DEA officials say he agreed to go along with the delivery.

Once the drop was made in Southeast Columbus early Wednesday morning, the man receiving the drugs was arrested.

Both suspects are facing charges.

According to the DEA, two kilograms of cocaine are worth $64,000 but if they're broken down into grams to be sold, they can bring in $200,000.

Officials would not reveal the identities of the suspects nor would they give a specific location of the bust.

Muscogee County Jail records show that Horace Cromwell and Benny Jones were arrested for trafficking cocaine and booked into the facility Wednesday morning. They're scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
