AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn guard Frankie Sullivan will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury sustained over the summer.
Auburn said Monday it will seek a medical hardship waiver for the junior.
Sullivan had surgery on his left knee on July 27 and missed the first eight games. He has averaged eight points and three assists in six outings, but hasn't played in any of the Southeastern Conference games.
Auburn coach Tony Barbee says Sullivan's health "is our No. 1 concern with him."
Sullivan joined the Tigers starting lineup for a four-game winning streak starting with USC Upstate on Dec. 21.
