Trio arrested following cocaine bust

AUBURN - On Thursday, January 20, 2011, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Auburn Police Division patrol officers and narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Ethan Lane.

Three men were taken into custody.  An undisclosed amount of powder cocaine, prescription medication (Xanax), drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles, and a handgun were confiscated.

Arrested were Blake L. Bussey, age 25, of Atlanta, Georgia; Jarrett Shoemaker, age 25, of Newnan, Georgia; and John A. Horne, age 22, of Auburn.

All three are charged with Trafficking in cocaine.  Bussey is also charged with Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Carrying Brass Knuckles.

They were transported to the Lee County Detention Center where bond on Bussey is set at $28,500 while bond on Shoemaker and Horne is set at $25,000 each.
