3 robberies reported in Auburn overnight

AUBURN, AL - The Auburn Police Division is urging residents to be cautious and aware of their surroundings following three reported robberies that occurred Wednesday evening, February 2, between 9 and 10 p.m.

The incidents took place outside and around apartment complexes on West Longleaf Drive, South College Street, and DeKalb Street. No injuries were reported. 

Police are currently looking for a suspect who is described as a black male, early to mid-20's, approximately 5'09" to 6'01" in height, and weighing 160 to 185 pounds.

  He was wearing a red ball cap, black shirt, bright orange jacket, dark blue jeans, and tan work boots.  He is further described as being very slender or lanky.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Citizens who observe suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity are strongly urged to contact police immediately.
