AU's Chubb still suspended after arrest

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn basketball player Rob Chubb faces charges including public intoxication and resisting arrest following an arrest by Auburn police.

A police report showed Chubb was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Jan. 30 in Auburn. He also was charged with disorderly conduct and attempting to elude a police officer. Both he and an officer reported injuries.

The 6-foot-10, 222-pound sophomore center was suspended indefinitely last week, and coach Tony Barbee said Monday he remains barred from all team activities.

Chubb is averaging 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds.

He faces an April 7 court date at Auburn Municipal Court.
