MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Two murder victims found Tuesday at a Montgomery home are connected to a third murder victim found Wednesday, according to investigators.
Eighty-eight year old Vincyid Saffold and 42-year-old Herman Caffey were found shot to death at a home on Morgan Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Police located Caffey's body in a storage shed behind the residence and Saffold's body in her bedroom. Autopsies confirm both died from gunshot wounds.
The body of 51-year-old Robert Kendrick, Saffold's son, was found by a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon near Old Hayneville Road, approximately 400 yards from Catoma Creek. The cause of Kendrick's death is not currently known.
Kendrick is not considered the suspect in Tuesday's homicides. Authorities say they have no suspects, but say they're starting to "connect the dots".
Investigators say there is no evidence the three homicides are the work of a serial killer.
