TROUP COUNTY, GA - Murder and kidnapping suspect, Daniel Lee Allen (of New York), was extradited to Troup County on Thursday afternoon (2/17/11) after being captured by United States Marshals Service Agents on July 27, 2010.

Allen was sitting in the waiting area of the Brooklyn Medical Center's Emergency Room when Agents from the United States Marshals Service Task Force made the arrest. Initially, Allen identified himself as someone else (an alias).

Authorities with the New York Department Of Corrections facility in the Bronx, New York housed Allen while waiting on positive results to come back from Allen's fingerprints to establish his true Identification.

Allen has been fighting extradition from New York since the positive ID was established. Prior to his actual transfer to Troup County, six previously attempted trips were made unsuccessfully.

Now that Daniel Lee Allen has returned, he will soon face charges for the Kidnapping and Murder of Greenville resident, Dwayne Louder. Allen, along with four accomplices allegedly committed the Kidnapping and Murder on, or about, January 3, 2010.

That is when a Troup County citizen reported to E-911 that he had seen a silver Chrysler 300 sitting off the roadway in the Knott Road area while on his way in to church services. Troup County Deputies were dispatched to discover the victim, Dwayne Louder, deceased inside the car.

A thorough investigation immediately began, involving the services of several agencies including: The Troup County Sheriff's Office, The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Federal Agents from the D.E.A., U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Secret Service and Officers from the LaGrange Police Department.

By January 15, 2010, four suspects were in custody in relation to this case: Toray Dontez Porter, Kelly Levar Stephens, Arthur Demartino Barrett and Sade Cantori Davidson. Since that time, authorities placed lookouts (North) from Troup County to New York on Daniel Lee Allen. Allen was the final suspect in the ring allegedly responsible for Louder's Kidnapping and Murder in January 2010.

District Attorney, Peter Skandalakis, expressed his gratitude for the many accomplishments in this case by stating "I appreciate the efforts of the Troup County Sheriff's Office, New York Law Enforcement Authorities, the New York Prosecutor's Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and all other coordinating agencies for their assistance in the capture and extradition of Daniel Lee Allen to Troup County. There is a witness who is cooperating with my office in this case, and I look forward to carrying this to trial."
