COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Tyrone Love, the city's coined "Bubblegum Bandit," pleaded guilty to 10 counts of burglary Monday.

Love was sentenced to 20 years, four of which he'll spend behind bars and the rest of probation.

Columbus Police say he was responsible for a string of break-ins at local businesses but he wasn't after the cash register- he took their gumball machines and left thousands of dollars worth of damage in his wake.

Love still have several years left on his probation for another crime. His attorney, Ray Lakes, says he was previously convicted of forgery stemming from counterfeit money.

Restitution is also a concern- the businesses want Love to pay for the damage he did. A hearing is set for March 9th.
