Grant: Alabama players remain 'locked in'

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's Anthony Grant says he's not worried about his team lapsing with the SEC West title already secured.

The Crimson Tide coach said Monday that finishing the regular season strong is "always going to be critical," and that his players understand.

Alabama might need a good finish to be assured of an at-large NCAA tournament berth.

Grant's team is tied with Florida for the overall Southeastern Conference lead with a 10-2 league record. The Tide hosts Auburn on Wednesday, then visits Mississippi and Florida before closing the regular season against Georgia.

Alabama clinched its first SEC West crown since 2005 with Saturday's win over Arkansas.

Grant says Alabama remains "locked in" and that it's one-game-at-a-time approach won't change.
