City mourns loss of Judge Robert G. Johnston, III

The Columbus Consolidated Government is saddened to hear of the passing this morning of the Honorable Judge Robert G. Johnston, III, retired Superior Court judge.  

Judge Johnston embraced his Columbus roots and gave his beloved city twenty-eight years of service on the bench.  He began his public service in 1973 as Assistant Solicitor of Muscogee County State Court. We join his colleagues, neighbors, friends and family in mourning this loss to the city and the region.
