COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police worked throughout the night on a string of shootings.
The first one happened around 11:40 PM Friday night.
A Columbus man and his girlfriend were sitting in their car along the road at Sheridan Avenue and Wade Street when two men came up to the car and shot the man in the hip.
The victim underwent surgery but is expected to be fine
The second call of a shooting came in only 20 minutes after midnight.
A teen was shot in the left leg off of Gleason Avenue.
The 19-year old told police someone shot at him from a vehicle and drove off.
The victim has been released from the hospital.
Four hours later police received another call about a shooting at Eagle Trace Apartments.
The victim told police four men approached him with a pistol when he was getting into his car.
He was treated and released at the hospital.
No arrests were made in any of the shootings from over night.
Police said none of the shooting attacks appeared to be related.
