Crime Stoppers: Gunman demand money at Circle K

COLUMBUS, GA - Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Department Robbery and Assault Unit are requesting assistance in identifying two armed robbery suspects.

On Thursday, March 24, 2011 at approximately 1:30 in the morning, an armed robbery occurred at the Circle K on Manchester Expressway. 

An investigation revealed that two black male suspects entered the store.  One of the suspects pointed a gun at the store clerk's face and demanded money. 

The armed suspect escorted the clerk behind the counter, directed him to open both cash registers and took the money. 

A shot was fired from the handgun toward the floor, cigarettes were taken from a rack and the suspects left the store, fleeing east on foot towards Rosemont Drive.
